Job Description
Join Redpath Canada Limited as a Jumbo Bolter Operator in Sudbury, ON, specializing in drilling, scaling, and bolting in hard rock mining. This role offers a unique schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off.
As a key member of the Redpath team, you will leverage your extensive Jumbo drilling experience, specifically with Sandvik machinery, to operate safely and effectively in underground environments. Your responsibilities will include conducting equipment checks, reading mine plans, and adhering to strict safety protocols while performing primary drilling tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Jumbo drill for primary face drilling and scaling
• Conduct prestart checks of equipment and site
• Assess ground conditions and implement control measures
• Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
• Complete daily logbooks and reports to supervisors
