Job Description
We are hiring an Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Winnipeg service team as a Lead Hand. Focus on diagnostics, repairs, and team mentorship across shop and field environments.
Supporting the Service Manager, you will coordinate daily workflows and handle a variety of equipment repairs. With your Red Seal certification, you will lead by example, ensuring high standards in safety and service are achieved. Your role will also involve coaching others while managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute daily shop and field repairs
• Conduct in-depth diagnostics on heavy equipment
• Mentor apprentices and provide on-the-job training
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Organize personnel and respond to busy periods adeptly
