T. Smith Engineering Inc. is a multidisciplinary forensic and restoration engineering firm specializing in mechanical, structural, building science, and environmental engineering. We provide investigation, analysis, and restoration design services for residential, commercial, and industrial building, that have been affected by insured losses. These losses may include fire damage, water and flood damage, smoke damage, explosion, tree impacts, vehicle impacts, and other catastrophic events.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Environmental Technician to support our structural and forensic engineering teams on insurance-related claims. The successful candidate will assist with environmental assessments of buildings impacted by fire, water, vehicle impact, oil spills, and other losses. This role plays a critical part in identifying designated substances and environmental concerns that may affect restoration, repair scope, and rebuilding efforts.
