Experienced Cook

Mt Barker Bakery is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing quality food in a busy bakery and caf environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook and present a variety of caf meals, savoury items and ready-to-serve food products Follow recipes, portion control and workplace procedures Assist with preparation of sandwiches, pies, pastries, fillings and other bakery/caf items Maintain food quality, freshness and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation of ingredients. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Requirements Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery highly regarded Strong knowledge of food preparation...
