Executive Director, Education Workforce

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister of System Excellence, the Executive Director, Education Workforce provides strategic leadership to a team of policy professionals, while promoting a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and results. This position leads a key priority area for the department, with responsibility for guiding a high-performing team in advancing strategic policy and stakeholder engagement initiatives that align with government priorities and contribute to the long-term strength of Alberta’s K–12 education system.

In this role, you will lead a team that works closely with school authorities, professional associations, post-secondary institutions, government partners, and other education stakeholders to develop workforce solutions.
