Excavator Driver (Mining)

Minimum Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Valid Excavator Operator Certificate from an accredited training provider. Valid Driver's Licence (advantageous). Medical certificate declaring fitness to work in a mining environment. Competent A or B (where required by legislation or company policy). Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience operating excavators in an open-pit or underground mining environment. Experience loading articulated dump trucks or rigid dump trucks. Experience working in production mining. Experience operating large hydraulic excavators (preferred). Key Responsibilities Operate hydraulic excavators of various sizes safely and efficiently. Excavate, load, and move ore, waste, and overburden according to the mine plan. Load haul trucks accurately to maximize productivity and minimize spillage.
