Daniel (20) is a bright young man with many interests . He enjoys cycling, languages (especially French), the piano, reading, going out, meeting his friends, and leading an independent life from his family. He attends a local college four times a week and is studying Math’s at GCSE level. Thomas has cerebral palsy and is dependent on others for all his needs. He is a wheelchair user, non-verbal but uses a communication aid with great efficiency. Daniel had a PEG fitted about 18 months ago – this is used as and when needed for top ups, especially when he is unwell. There is a full multi-disciplinary team in place.

Overview of role: Your role will be to support Daniel with his afternoon and weekend routine, providing personal care, enabling him to pursue his interests and exploring new activities.
