EVENT Cinemas Manukau - Supervisor

Purpose of Position

To delegate work to Cinema Sales Attendants and to supervise the Team to ensure that the work is completed satisfactorily and to a high standard.

Authority

To facilitate correct practice / instruction if performance expectations are not met. Any performance issues or misconduct requiring more serious disciplinary action to the Cinema Manager. May warn and evict theatre patrons if necessary.

Staff Management

• Cinema Attendants are allocated tasks, areas of responsibility (such as Point of Sale, Choctop Production, Cleaning Duties, Bathroom Cleaning, Cinema Checks, Rubbish and Recycling) and the necessary equipment each shift (Walkies etc).
• Cinema Attendants are fully informed about all events and promotions, any new health and safety information and all other matters that management wishes communicated at the commencement of each shift.
