Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The technician will troubleshoot hardware and process failures, perform preventive maintenance, and use diagnostic software to ensure optimal tool performance. This role requires interaction with multiple disciplines in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving and equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion, and LAM Dry Etch tools.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities according to standardized work documents.
  • Utilize SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software to evaluate and monitor tool performance.
