Estimator


Purpose
Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for projects while ensuring cost efficiency and supporting successful bids.


Key Responsibilities


  • Analyze project documents to prepare detailed cost, material, and labor estimates




  • Track actual costs vs. bids; recommend adjustments and cost-saving measures




  • Collaborate with engineers, owners, contractors, and vendors to resolve estimate issues




  • Prepare itemized lists, bids, and proposals for management and client use




  • Conduct site visits before bids and during construction




  • Support long-term planning and business development efforts




  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies
