ESTIMATOR (Entry)-Edmonton, AB $55K-$65K
Client is a Canadian company that offers custom metal products for railings, balconies, decks, extrusions and special fabrications. The Estimator will report to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for preparing plans and technical drawings for multi-unit/commercial projects, sketches, calculations, quotations, specification sheets and other data. You are innovative, creative and a team player who leads by example in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
RESPONSIBLIIES:Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor and equipment, and subcontracts for projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, design, production, and installation on all changes and adjustments to cost estimates Advise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards and conduct negotiations ...
