Join us and build what matters for BC. Jacob Bros is now hiring a Buildings Estimator to provide cost estimates for institutional, commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Please note this position is 100% office based.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for projects by analyzing specifications, proposals, and other relevant documentation, ensuring accuracy throughout the full‑cycle bid process.
• Assist in developing bid strategies for competitive tender projects, providing technical input on project and contract risks.
• Accurately determine scopes of work and conceptual estimates by drawing on experience, reviewing proposal specifications, and attending pre‑bid meetings.
• Calculate complete takeoff of scopes of work, including material quantity requirements from drawings.
