We are currently recruiting an Estimator for one of the largest civil engineering and infrastructure specialists in the UK. The business has 40 years trading history working nationally across sectors such as water, transport, energy and the built environment.
This opportunity is based out of the business’ Midlands region with their offices located in the Walsall area and will involve projects such as civils infrastructure, water infrastructure, rail and tunnelling. As a result past experience in one or all of these areas would be desirable.
DUTIES:
Undertake Estimates
• Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures
• Identify opportunity and risk during the tender process
• Liaise with the business unit to agree methodology and principles
• Liaise with tender Bid Manager and Planner
• Maintain a register of key assumptions within estimate
• Maintain tender estimate file
• Obtain feed...
