Responsibilities
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and related agreements.
- Prepare and revise probate and estate administration documents, including applications for certificates of appointment, court filings, and supporting materials.
- Draft trust documents, amendments, and related estate planning instruments.
- Prepare correspondence and memoranda related to estate planning and administration matters.
- Review and update estate documentation to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and best practices.
- Work closely with lawyers to support complex estate planning and trust structures.
- Maintain organized drafting files and version control for estate documents.
- Assist with special drafting projects as required.
Requirements
- Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education.
