As part of our Sigma Temporary department, we are pleased to collaborate with a renowned company in the construction sector based in Valais.
To meet its needs, we are actively seeking a confirmed carpenter technician (m/f):
ES Carpenter Technician
Technical skills (core of the profession)
- Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams and calculation notes
- Knowledge of wood structures (traditional carpentry, industrial, glued laminated timber)
- Mastery of assembly techniques (mortise and tenon joints, notches, metal connectors)
- Marking out, cutting and machining wood
- Use and adjustment of machines and tools (saw, planer, mortiser, power tools)
- Implementation of roofs and wooden frameworks
- Knowledge of construction standards and regulations (DTU, safety rules)
- Installation, assembly and lifting of carpentry elements
- Quality control, verification of stability and compliance
