Equipment Technician

The Equipment Technician performs and ensures that the manufacturing equipment is in working condition, providing the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance to facilitate production without defects caused by the equipment.
General Responsibilities
- Leads services and calibrates test equipment by making regular performance inspections, planning preventative maintenance and repairing defective equipment or systems.
- Ensures repairs and preventative actions on equipment within the production.
- Leads in the deployment of new equipment.
- Leads preventive actions with a real risk of equipment or infrastructure problems.
- Ensures correction and continuous improvement events for the performance of production equipment.
- Advises on diagnostic tasks and repair of various production equipment, following the best safety practices and minimizing downtime due to equipment breakdown.
