Equipment Operator

What to Expect

• Safely operate machinery, including skid steers and mini excavators, on utility construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, stakes, and signage to guide project execution
• Conduct pre-operation safety inspections and maintain equipment
• Prepare and coordinate safety toolbox talks and hazard assessments
• Perform general labor duties and assist with daily project activities as required

What is Required

• High School Diploma preferred
• Valid Alberta Driver's License with a clean driving abstract; Class 3 License with Airbrakes or Class 1 preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience operating skid steers and mini excavators
• 2-5 years of experience in a construction operator role
• Ground Disturbance certification
