About The Role
McCain Farms is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Fall Harvest team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing grading equipment and conveyor systems to ensure efficient and safe harvest operations. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical maintenance experience and can work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform mechanical breakdown repairs and proactive maintenance on grading equipment, conveyor belts, and related machinery
- Line conveyor belts to ensure proper alignment and operation
- Replace and grease bearings as part of preventative maintenance routines
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and hot work permits (training provided as needed)
