Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Design control panels and MCC systems
  • Ensure that drawings comply with relevant electrical standards (IEC, SANS, NEC, etc.)
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and workshop teams
  • Update and revise drawings based on project requirements
  • Maintain accurate project documentation

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience using EPLAN Electric
  • Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and panel design
  • Experience with PLC systems and instrumentation drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
