Epidemiologist

​The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking to employ an experienced epidemiologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine either on a tenure track or as practice track professorial, and to be a member of the Clinical Research Institute (CRI) at the Faculty of Medicine. The main tasks would be to support other faculty members in different aspects of clinical research. Candidates must have a doctoral degree with a strong background in academic activities including teaching and the conduct of clinical research. They must have displayed interest in pursuing an academic career, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals. 

Key responsibilities include providing guidance, supporting, and mentoring junior investigators in writing study proposals (including refining research question, study design, and statistical plan), grant applications, and assistance in publishing the research work.
