The Epic Cache/IRIS DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Epic Caché/IRIS database environment within a pediatric healthcare setting. This role ensures the performance, reliability, and availability of critical Epic applications to support patient care and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Database Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain Epic Caché/IRIS databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor database health, including backups, indexing, and storage utilization.
Manage database upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in collaboration with Epic and IT teams.
Assist with Enterprise Microsoft SQL support as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Tuning:
Analyze and resolve database performance issues, including query optimization and resource allocation.
