The Position

Reporting to the Environmental Coordinator, the Environmental Technician must safely carry out an assortment of field and office work to meet business and regulatory needs. Position involves considerable amount of time in the field in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain environmental monitoring and inspection programs including ambient air, surface water, groundwater, potable water, tailings and dam management programs
• Support the Environmental Department in data collection, management, analysis, and internal and external provincial and federal regulatory reporting such as MEWS, MERS, Air Quality Data, NPRI
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance Net Present Value and support the company’s strategic environmental objectives and targets
