Aerotek is hiring immediately for an environmental technician in Providence, RI! We are currently hiring for laborers to work in our warehouse type facility working with drums of material. You will be labeling, sorting, and moving drums around the facility using pallet jacks and forklifts. This role is on 2nd shift and pays $20 - $21 an hour. Certification for the 40-Hour HAZWOPER will be provided. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!
**Responsibilities**
+ Transport and handle drums of waste, ensuring correct identification of substances.
+ Load and unload drums onto trucks safely and efficiently.
+ Separate hazardous and non-hazardous waste and place them in designated warehouse areas.
+ Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse through regular sweeping.
