Job Description

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

+ Sanitize and disinfect specific areas such as patient rooms, nurse's stations, waiting areas, meeting rooms, offices, corridors, and common areas
+ Contribute to hospital efficiency and integrity by maintaining quality cleanliness in accordance with hospital and CDC guidelines
+ Understand and utilize all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and disposing of hazardous materials
+ Inventory and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials for ignitability (flammable), corrosivity (rust), reactivity (explosive), toxicity (poison), etc.
+ Appropriately display signs to prevent injuries of patients, employees, and visitors such as slips and/or falls

**Job Requirements**
**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
