Manage the water and sewer operations as Chief Operator for Timmins. Ensure system integrity and lead a dedicated team in environmental services.
In this full-time role, the Chief Operator supervises the Water and Sewer Department, reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services. You'll be responsible for guiding operators, conducting reviews of system modifications, and executing maintenance plans for water distribution and wastewater collection. This position requires strong leadership in addressing emergencies and evolving technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct supervisors for water distribution and wastewater systems
• Oversee capital improvement planning and technical reviews
• Train operators to maintain certification levels
• Ensure compliance as Overall Responsible Operator (ORO)
• Prepare detailed monthly and annual operational reports
