Overview

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services II (cleaner/housekeeper trained to work in healthcare) that is dedicated to both high‑quality work and safety. AHS will provide the necessary training to safely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas, and other common staff/public areas in accordance with Alberta Health Services standards and practices. Shift schedules may include a combination of days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

As an Environmental Services staff, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with cleaning and disinfecting clinical and non‑clinical healthcare environments within a hospital or facility. Your typical duties include:

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• Restocking supplies in bathroom facilities
