The position is based in Thatta/ Badin office in rural Sindh
The Aga Khan Agency for Habitat Pakistan is seeking an Environmental Officer who will help ensure the environmental and social compliance of AKAH Pakistan's interventions. The role includes contributing to tool development, conducting environmental and social assessments, preparing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs), ensuring compliance through monitoring visits, producing compliance reports, and supporting community awareness and engagement. The position will be based in either Thatta or Badin office in rural Sindh.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
Stay updated on provincial, national, and international environmental standards, and ensure compliance with the requirements of provincial Environmental Protection Agencies (EPAs).
