Environmental Manager (Surrey)

General Summary

The Environmental Manager (EM) reports directly to the Senior Environmental Manager (EM) assigned to the region or to the Environmental Operations Director. The EM’s activities are supervised at the discretion of the Senior EM and include implementing company policies and procedural plans related to all environmental media—air, stormwater, groundwater, solid, and hazardous waste—while maintaining regional facilities in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws, standards, and permits.

The EM conducts on‑site fieldwork for sampling, monitoring, observing, and recording environmental data, prepares required reports and records, assists in planning, design, installation, and operation of pollution control equipment, delivers training programs, and serves as the first‑line responder to environmental emergencies, spills, releases, and accidents.
