Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Environmental Compliance Superintendentis responsible for supporting facility operations by implementation of environmental compliance programs, monitoring, recordkeeping and regulatory reporting. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, collecting monitoring data required by permits or regulations, supervising an Environmental Technician, overseeing contractor and facility activities as they relate to environmental compliance, and training to assure that plant environmental requirements and policies are met.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect operating data for the five boilers and eight wet impingement scrubbers at the Osceola mill. For each day of operation, review the steam production and oxygen data from each boiler, and the water flow and pressure drop data for each scrubber to verify the required monitoring data was recorded.
