Environmental Class 5/3 Driver

Position Summary

The Environmental Class 5/3 Driver will be relied upon to visit various client sites to collect and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. As a professional driver with a safe driving record, you will utilize TDG knowledge and experience to assist with labeling containers and preparing transport documentation.

Key Accountabilities

• Safely operate all required transport equipment.
• Professionally represent GFL on all client sites and look for ways to expand services.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is properly loaded and maintained.
• Keep accurate drivers’ logs as required to document mileage, hours and material hauled.
• Communicate effectively with a team of qualified professionals.
• Participate in safety meetings, last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments.
