ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL)

Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL) in the Engine Production Division 930 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. Responsibilities You will provide oversight and technical guidance for to various diesel engines and components serviced by (SWRMC) Southwest Regional Maintenance Command. You will work with the SWRMC Planning Department developing, opening, closing, and revisioning standard work packages. You will review maintenance standards and other technical work documents for current updates. You will submit engineering service requests and technical manual deficiency evaluation reports when required to solve technical issues. You will attend diesel conferences. You will interface with the various program managers for each type of diesel. You will perform final inspection of engines prior to turning over to SWRMC Diesel Engine Inspector.
