Summary You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) in the Auxiliary Systems (TRF-322) Shop 38A, Mechanical Division (TRF-320), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will monitor tasks involving standard trouble shooting and assessments assigned to junior personnel and evaluate the subsequent progress and final recommendations for technical accuracy. You will determine diagnostic and operability tests in assigned functional areas. You will define requirements and alternatives for specialized test instrumentation intended to augment onboard ship and shop capabilities. You will develop test plans and procedures to be accomplished under severe time constraints. You will resolve complex problems with submarine propulsion while in a stressful environment and under constant pressure for rapid results.
