**Position Description & Qualifications**
We are seeking a new Engineering Technician III to support our IMCOM Video Management System (VMS) Upgrade team! This will be a high-travel role (including international travel) based remotely anywhere in the United States.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Assist with server hardware and software setup/installation and configuration of the video management system (VMS) using the documented standard and according to prescribed sequence.
+ Conduct testing on the VMS.
+ Follow specific instructions, assemble, or construct simple or standard equipment or parts, service or repair simple instruments or equipment
+ Ensure cable management and potentially terminate Cat 6 using T568B color code standard.
+ Check electrical connections are properly connected, fixed and secured
+ Analyze and resolve technical issues related to VMS end points
