Job Description
THOR Solutions is actively seeking an Engineering Technician I to provide full-time technical and professional support services at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.
This position is contingent upon contract award, anticipated for September 2026.
Typical Responsibilities: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
+ Disassemble, repair, and rebuild components and assemblies, such as sea valves and propulsion machinery, including rotary vane, screw-type, reciprocating, and centrifugal pumps, reduction gears, and transmissions.
+ Perform soft footing procedures, laser and dial indicator alignments, and assemble components such as gage lines, cyclone separators, and various couplings.
+ Interpret and apply technical manuals, shop directives, and blueprints to ensure adherence to critical dimensions and key reference points.
