Engineering Technician I
POSITION SUMMARY:
With direct supervision, responsible for any combination of engineering technical duties which require a high degree of accuracy in one or more of the following functions: Test Configuration, Test Execution, Measurement & Calibration to support the development of fluid (hydraulic and pneumatic) components and/or assemblies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Configuration
Configure/setup engineering-defined tests for fluid components and/or assemblies (Valves, Pumps, Motors, etc.).
In accordance with internal verbal instructions, written procedures, and/or industry test method standards such as MIL-STD-/DO-. Engineering-defined tests may include flow, thermal, vibration, power, and/or pressure measurements, requiring instrumentation such as pressure and temperature gauges, flow meters, oscilloscopes, accelerometers, torque meters, tachometers, and computer data acquisition systems.
