Engineering Technician - Development & Contract Operations (REPOST)

Overview

This position reports directly to the Program Manager – Subdivision and Servicing and is a key contributor to the City’s Development Applications Division. This position is responsible for reviewing land development applications and working the City’s Engineering, Transportation and Parks Departments to ensure appropriate City infrastructure is provided, coordinating review, execution of Servicing Agreements for City infrastructure and determining fees associated with Servicing Agreements.

Examples of key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze land development applications to identify any infrastructure deficiencies
• Interpret City bylaws and policies to determine off-site City infrastructure requirements associated with land development applications.
