Engineering resource Planner

Resource Planning & Allocation

• Plan, allocate, and manage engineering resources across projects based on skills, availability, and priorities.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of engineers while avoiding over-allocation and burnout.
• Maintain a forward-looking resource plan aligned with project pipelines and delivery schedules.
• Support rapid ramp-up and ramp-down of resources based on project needs.
• Partner with Lead Project Manager and Engineering Team Lead to support project staffing and delivery timelines.

Capacity & Demand Management

• Track billable vs non-billable utilisation and productivity metrics.
• Forecast resource demand in collaboration with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering leadership.
• Analyse current and future capacity to identify gaps or excesses.
• Recommend hiring, subcontracting, cross-skilling, or reallocation strategies.
