Engineering Product Designer



Our client is a well-established company in the precast concrete industry. They are looking for an Engineering Product Designer to join their Guelph office on a permanent full time basis.



The Product Designer provides design and technical support for preparation of shop drawing packages for submission and fabrication as well as guidance to Operations for technical issues. They also maintain the technical information in accordance with internal design and drafting principles and practices.



Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret contract drawings
  • Review technical details
  • Prepare and review shop drawings shop drawings
  • Maintain registry documents
  • Engineering record keeping
  • Design using CSA and OPS Standards
  • Design and stamp underground precast concrete structures
