Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to provide engineering calculations for a multifamily structural steel project.
This is a contract-based role requiring a strong background in structural steel analysis and design. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing complete, code-compliant calculation packages that support fabrication and construction documents.
Experience with steel framing, connection design, base plates, anchor rods, stairs, and miscellaneous steel is required.
Scope of Work:
Based on the drawings for Fire Stair 1 (West) and Fire Stair 2 (East), covering Levels Gā3, the selected engineer will provide structural engineering calculations for the following:
Structural analysis and design verification of:
Stair stringers
Intermediate and main landings
Guardrail support framing (if structurally delegated)
Associated stair framing members
Design and verification of all required stair connections, including:
Stringer-to-la...
