gap technical are proud to be representing a leading UK research and innovation campus in seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to take a key leadership role within its campus engineering team. This is a senior, hands‑on management role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance and development of campus infrastructure and engineering services. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage minor works projects, and coordinate both in‑house engineering teams and specialist contractors. Supporting the Head of Engineering, you will also help drive operational improvements, support strategic planning and budgeting, and step in to lead the department when required.
