About the Role

Working in close partnership with the Senior Engineering Manager for Content Delivery, this role leads, inspires and scales high-performing engineering teams responsible for the content management systems and APIs that power the ABC’s digital products.


The role combines strong people leadership with technical and strategic direction, driving modern engineering practices, continuous improvement and innovation across teams that are accountable for the systems used to author, manage and deliver content to millions of Australians. With a focus on quality, reliability, security and audience impact, the role shapes the engineering strategy that underpins how the ABC builds, evolves and operates its content platforms.
