Job Description
The Engineering Manager is responsible for the bidding and design phases of the project, smooth hand-over of awarded projects to operations, project coordination with the operations team during the construction stage and assisting in the procurement of main materials/equipment needed for the project execution. The Engineering manager ensures that designs meet client specifications, regulatory requirement and project budget while ensuring a seamless coordination between engineering, procurement, operations team and all other relevant departments.
Bidding/Design Management
Lead and oversee the engineering team during the bidding phase of construction projects.
Collaborate with the team in reviewing the project specifications (tender documents, drawings) and creating a competitive, accurate, and comprehensive bid proposals.
Prepare queries (Request for Information) to client in case of lacking information and/or clarifications to the tender documents provide...
