Engineering Manager at AECI Mining Explosives

Purpose of Job

• To provide, manage and direct cost effective engineering maintenance and project services to all sites with respect to AECI plants and fleets to meet the business needs, safety and all other company and departmental requirement to ensure continuous operation/production and to meet organisational targets

Functional Outputs

• To ensure the effective control and maintenance of functional budget and managed within sanctioned amount and to ensure inventory is within acceptable levels

• Ensure the work carried out by the maintenance team is of a standard that supports the operational requirements of the equipment and is at optimum cost

• Support the development and implementation of systems for the Engineering department to provide effective planning of work, efficient and safe work practices, monitoring of performance and promote continuous improvement
