Engineering Manager
- Start with a buddy to learn the codebase.
- Learn the business, the full customer journey, and work with the team to draft a roadmap.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss priorities and bring new ideas.
- Review RFCs the team produces, give feedback, and mandate the best execution path.
- Hire as the team grows, ensuring we bring talented and good‑hearted people.
- Continuously improve how the team works.
- Run weekly 1:1 meetings focused on development and well‑being of each team member.
- Coordinate cross‑team initiatives with other engineering managers.
- Lead the shift toward AI‑native product development by setting example, asking the right questions, and creating space for experimentation and learning.
