Engineer - Site

Overview

Job description: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Engineer will organise and execute the project management and construction activities on site while ensuring that the project is executed in full accordance to the design standards and specifications, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet the agreed deadlines.
• Overseeing quality control, safety & health and environmental matters on site.
• Resolving any unexpected technical issues / difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant to ensure all materials used are as per specifications.
