Engineer, Product Design

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Review and interpret customer design requirements from Marketing, Sales or Customer drawings or specifications.

2.Provide preliminary design feasibility review per customer requirements.

3.Generate, review, and determine feasibility of design proposals in the form of CAD models, drawings or sketches.

4.Create CAD design models, sales and engineering drawings, and other design specifications such as product, material and packaging specifications.

5.Perform design verification activities including tolerance analysis and design FMEA.

6.Conduct design reviews to determine feasibility of design and design for manufacturability.

7.Release final design specifications for tooling design and development.

8.Establish test specification plan for product reliability testing.

9.Support tooling engineers in disposing First Article inspection reports.
