Job Summary
To oversee the overall operations of the laboratory, including sampling, testing, reporting, coordination and ensuring the operations are in accordance with work specifications
Key Responsibilities
- To perform sampling and testing of materials in compliance with various testing frequency and standards.
- To maintain and upkeep laboratory testing equipment.
- To ensure proper written records are created and maintained for each acitivity.
- To plan procedures in advance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- To supervise laboratory subordinates, delegate and monitor work appropriately.
- To exercise proper control over tests to maintain result accuracy.
- To monitor the consistency of testing results and prepare an analysis report.
- If necessary, to propose recommendations for improvement to ensure a higher standard of work.
