Job Summary
To oversee the overall operations of the laboratory, including sampling, testing, reporting, coordination and ensuring the operations are in accordance with work specifications
Key Responsibilities
To perform sampling and testing of materials in compliance with various testing frequency and standards.
To maintain and upkeep laboratory testing equipment.
To ensure proper written records are created and maintained for each acitivity.
To plan procedures in advance to ensure timely completion of tasks.
To supervise laboratory subordinates, delegate and monitor work appropriately.
To exercise proper control over tests to maintain result accuracy.
To monitor the consistency of testing results and prepare an analysis report.
If necessary, to propose recommendations for improvement to ensure a higher standard of work.
