Engineer II, Structural

Provides input on issues related to the Structural aspects of the design and build of the ships.

Provide technical solutions for any issue related to Structural Design throughout project lifecycle

Knowledge in ship design in other disciplines such as: Naval Architecture, Outfitting & Safety, Machinery & Piping, Electrical.

Knowledge and experience of Ship Hull Structural Design and Calculations, Foundation Design as applicable in ships, considering statics and dynamic forces.

Knowledge and experience in FEA concept for Structural (Local strength analysis), software such as FEMAP, Abaqus, Solidworks compatible with Class Approval software.

Knowledge and experience in Structural Design and Repair project assessment for compliances with Class, National and International Rules and Regulations, Ship Specifications, technical writing and ability to produce clear, detailed written technical speci...
