Job Description

Amentum is seeking an experienced and licensed Engineer – 1st Class to support facility operations in the Washington, DC area. This senior-level stationary engineering role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical systems, including boilers, HVAC units, chillers, pumps, and electrical equipment.


As the most senior engineering professional within the facility, the Engineer – 1st Class operates with a high degree of autonomy, provides technical leadership, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and oversees junior engineering staff.
